Our practice provides comprehensive health care using advanced medical technology and offers on-site services to our patients.
- Spirometry/Nebulizer therapy
- Minor Surgical procedure (ex. Skin biopsy, laceration repairs, skin lesion removal, and ingrown toenails)
- In house blood coagulation testing (Coumadin therapy)
- Nerve Conduction Study (NVC)/EMG
- Comprehensive Physical Exams
This exam emphasizes healthcare prevention and disease management. This exam includes a gynecological evaluation with pap smear and breast exam, discussion of birth control and symptoms of menopause, cholesterol screening and management, diabetes screening, EKG evaluation, cancer screening, prostate exam, heart/lung/thyroid disorders screening, STD screening, update on immunizations, auditory and vision screening, and a thorough analysis of family history and background.
- Well Child Check Up and Interim Health Care Assessments
This exam is for children from birth to 18 years of age. A pediatric health history assessment includes: family history, assessing the need for vaccinations, child development and cognitive history, emphasis on nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. Interim health care assessments include school, camp and sports exams.
- Flight Physicals
The FAA has designated John L. Burkard, MD, Senior Aviation Medical Examiner to perform Class 1, 2, and 3 Medical Exams. All pilots, including Airline Transport Pilot, can be accommodated. Aero medical exams are a necessary part of your aviation career including Student Pilots, Private Pilots, Commercial Pilots, and Airline-Transport Pilots.
- Department of Transportation Physicals
In the interest of public safety on the highways, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations require interstate commercial drivers to be medically fit to operate their vehicles safely and competently. You are required to have a physical exam and carry a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate.

We anticipate our flu vaccine arrival with administration in October. Please call the office for an update regarding availability.
- New Vaccines from Merck
Our office is excited to offer two new vaccines from Merck.
- Gardasil - protection against Human Papillomal Virus (HPV) which causes cervical cancer and genital warts.
- Zostavax - protection against Herpes Zoster (Shingles).
- Pneumococcal for high risk individuals or people greater than 65 years of age
- Travel vaccines including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus booster, and prescriptions for medicines preventing Malaria, Typhoid, Traveler's Diarrhea, etc.
